There was a Zen master who walked in nature as part of his daily routine.
His neighbour once gathered the courage to ask him if he could join him.
The master said: “OK, but please respect my meditative walk by being quiet as well”.
The neighbour was really happy told his friend who wanted to join them too.
The Zen master had the same condition.
The next day right after the walk the neighbour’s friend said that he really enjoyed it.
The master went home.
When the neighbour asked the master about the walk later that day, the master said that his friend talks too much.
The neighbour replied: “He only said that he enjoyed it”.
The master said: “It’s not that, it’s the chatter and restlessness he had during the walk”.
